A further cure for Mapathy on its way
Still managing to be the most popular online game on the 360, Activision this morning announced that there will be a second map pack for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 hitting the Marketplace on June 3rd.
The DLC, entitled the Resurgence Pack will again feature five new multiplayer maps, though they've yet to be detailed or named.
No price has been set either, but the educated guess would assume that based on the massive success the Stimulus Pack had, the second pack will also be 1200 MSP. Despite the controversy that surrounded the high price mark, it was in fact purchased a record-breaking 2.5 million times within ONE week. Unfortunately, that means it's doubtful (though that is just my speculation, not necessarily fact!) we'll see a lower price this time round, unless we all cross our fingers and wish really hard. On three...
Again with this map pack, Infinity Ward have announced that they'll be hosting two more Double XP weekends, the first beginning Friday 28th May, and the following weekend, starting on Friday 4th June.
So, that's June 3rd for more maps. Three weeks today!
